Hundreds of students of various educational institutes took part in an awareness rally on cleanliness organised in the city on Monday.
The rally organised by the Mysuru City Corporation received a good response as students and general public took part with great enthusiasm. Nursing students from Apollo and KR Hospitals passed through Hardinge Circle, Town Hall, Ashoka Circle in the city, spreading the message of cleanliness. Addressing the gathering after flagging off the rally, DC D Randeep said, “Younger generation needs to be aware of cleanliness and strive hard to keep the environment clean. The city has bagged Swachh Bharats award for two consecutive years. In future too, the public needs to join hands in keeping the city clean.”
