Mysuru, September 22:- MLA S A Ramadas inaugurated Jan Aushadha centre at Narayana Shastry road near Nanjumalige circle on Friday.
“More than 800 varieties of medicines are available at this centre. It also includes life-saving drugs for heart problems, kidney-related issues, cancer and HIV. Earlier, there were some problems with the stock of medicines. Multinational companies were creating problems in the supply of generic medicines,” he said.
“Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has inaugurated Ayushman Bharat, the world’s largest medical scheme on the Independence Day. It helps every family up to Rs 5 lakh,” he said.
Owner of the medical shop K N Venkatachala Prasad and others were present. (MR/KS).
