Mysuru, January 25:- Ramagovinda national award distribution programme is being organised at Kalamandir at 6 pm on January 28.
President of Ramabai Charitable Foundation, M Jagannath Shenoy briefed the details of the event at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Thursday.
“Former president of Kannada Abhivrudhi Pradhikara, Mukhyamantri Chandru will inaugurate the programme. M Ramanatha Shenoy, M Gopinath Shenoy, and M Jagannath Shenoy will attend the programme,” he said.
“Ramagovinda national award of 2018 goes to Neenasam of Heggodu, shepherd of Mandya, Kamegowda, Godavari Dange of Maharashtra. Kamegowda has built eight lakes on Kunduru Hills near Malavalli of Mandya. He is also providing water to animals and birds. Godavari Dange has worked towards land, water and for education,” he said.
M Gopinath Shenoy, Jayaram Patil, Shivaji Rao Jadhav were present. (MR/KMR).
