The 181st birth anniversary of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was celebrated by Vipra Yuva Vedike by paying floral tributes at the Ramakrishna Circle recently.
Speaking at the event chairman of Mysuru Urban Development authority (MUDA) K R Mohan Kumar said, “MUDA is ready to instill the statue of the Ramakrishna Paramahamsa at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. A special tender will be called by the authority in a while and all the necessary steps will be taken to make the Ramakrishna Circle akin to K R Circle”.
Later Vice President of Vipra Sangha Raghuram said, “Ramakrishna Paramahamsa is one of the greatest personalities of India. He had great respect for women. Mother Theresa too followed in the footsteps and philosophy of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and the youth should thus follow his teachings.”
MLA G T Devegowda, Vippra Youth Association President Vikram, Ajay Shashtry, Rakesh Bhatt, Mullur Guruprasad, Srikanth, Jogi Manju, Ravi Theja, Lokesh Gowda and others were present.
