Randeep’s transfer has political motive: Ramadas

Mysuru, March 15:- “Deputy Commissioner D Randeep was transferred as he ordered a probe into irregularities in voter list revision in Chamaraja and Krishnaraja constituencies of Mysuru,” alleged former minister S A Ramadas at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Thursday.

He said that the state government transferred Randeep within 24 hours of the order that Randeep passed to investigate irregularities.

“He has served in Mysuru for only one and a half years. It shows other intentions of the state government. The upcoming assembly elections won’t be impartial. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah shows his arrogance when he speaks to the officials. We have informed about this to the Election Commission. An FIR has been filed against the assistant commissioner of regional office – 3 of MCC. IPS officers have written a letter against harassment on them for the first time in the history of this nation shows the behaviour of the government. Siddaramaiah didn’t bother to inform the election commission before transferring officials that when the assembly elections are nearing,” he added.

Ramadas said that the Chief Minister himself opined that the BJP will win Krishnaraja constituency while speaking to a news channel. Ramadas expressed confidence of winning all the constituencies of Mysuru. He said that he is a volunteer of the party and will lobby for the party ticket.
