Mysuru, April 17:- Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abledby the NR Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the NR Group, has started the admission procedure for this academic year.
The school is inviting applications fromVisually Impaired students across Karnataka for admission in the 2018-19 academic session.
Started in 1988, RRMSD is a free residential school initiated for visually challenged girls from economically backward background. The school is recognized by State.
The school operates under “Child centric project” and is supported by ‘Department of the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens’ Karnataka State
Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled, which recently celebrated its 30th Annual Day on 12th January’18, aims to groom the girls with visual impairments to be responsible and independent and live confidently on their own terms without depending on others.
Being a non-profit charitable trust of the NR Group, the school provides free education along with hostel facilities to all its students.The school follows the state syllabus learning through Braille system taught by highly qualified teachers and also imparts technology upgradation basic& computer skills.
