The prestigious theatre fest will have three plays showcased by various troupes every evening till March 29
Great news for theatre lovers of Mysuru! City-based theatre troupe Rangavalli will be staging three plays in Kalamandira as a part of its three-day theatre fest ‘Ranga Sambhrama’ from March 27.
Renowned theatre director and film actor Prakash Belawadi will be inaugurating the Ranga Sambhrama theatre fest. Joint Director of Department of Kannada and Culture V S Mallikarjunaswamy, Senior theatre person K Venkataraju and Rangavalli founder-member Raviprasad H R will take part in the inaugural event.
On March 27, Bangaluru-based troupe Rangamantapa will be presenting ‘Akku’ based on the short stories of Vaidhehi. On March 28, a play based on Dr Mogalli Ganesh’s novel ‘Buguri’ will be presented by Thumuriya Kinnara Mela troupe and on March 29, Ananya team will present ‘Atheetha’ written and directed by S N Sethuram.
