Ravi Pujari’s threat calls to MLAs may be probed

Mysuru, February 24:- Underworld don Ravi Pujari, who was hiding in South Africa has been arrested. It is said that complaints filed against him by two MLAs of Mysuru region would be taken up for investigation.

Ravi Pujari had threatened MLA of Narasimharaja Constituency Tanveer Sait and KR Nagar MLA Sa Ra Mahesh. Sait had alleged that Pujari had demanded Rs 10 crore from him. He had also informed it to the then chief minister Siddaramaiah, home minister Ramalinga Reddy and IGP Neelamani Raju.

Mahesh had also filed a complaint at Lakshmipuram Police Station over Ravi Pujari threatening him against contesting the elections in 2018. Ravi Pujari was nabbed by the police in South Africa on Sunday. (MR/KS)
