Mysuru, July 12:- “Those who prepare for IAS and KAS exams should have desire, knowledge, and hard work,” said superintendent of police CB Rishyanth. He was speaking on the second day of the free IAS and KAS and competitive exams training at Lakshmipuram PU College organised by Jnanabutti on Thursday.
“First of all, you should have a desire to achieve. For that, you have to read more to accumulate more knowledge. To gain more knowledge, what is required is more reading. Continuous reading is enough for better knowledge. Along with reading, how much you understand is also important. Give emphasis to current events. Follow the earlier question papers to understand the trend in question papers. There will always be problems in life. Keep them aside and concentrate on your studies. Don’t think about those problems but concentrate on studies,” he advised.
“Have a proper time table and follow it regularly. Study all the topics. A group study will be helpful for passing the competitive exams. Group study should not lead to unnecessary discussions,” he added.
Dr Shalvapillai Iyengar, principal of Gundlupet JSS College Dr N Mahadevaswamy presented papers.
National resource person Dr NN Prahlad, Dr SBM Prasanna, Prof Ganesh, Jainahalli Sathyanarayana Gowda and others were present. (MR/SH).
