Reading should be a continuous process: Prof S N Hegde
Mysuru, April 18:- “Reading should be a never-ending habit which gives scope for enhancing our knowledge. Reading should not be limited to get a job,” said former vice chancellor of UoM, Prof S N Hegde here on Tuesday. He was speaking after releasing Jnana Bhandara study material and banking and RBI exams training being held for 45 days.
“Many read till they get a job and stop once they get one. Reading and knowing new things are a continuous process. Those who win Nobel and Jnanapeetha awards are great readers. Those who go for banking jobs should have better communication skills,” he added.
Prof M Krishnegowda, Jainahalli Sathyanarayana of Jnanabuthi organisation, H Balakrishna, Prof Seetharam Jagirdar, and others were present. (MR/SH).
