Ready for open debate on honesty with Pratap Simha: MLC Raghu Achar

Mysuru, March 29:- MLC Raghu Achar took a jibe at the statement of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pratap Simha, who had stated that former chief minister D Devaraja Urs used to distribute money for votes.

Speaking at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Thursday, Achar said that Simha has no morality to speak about Urs. He asked the MP for an open debate on how many honest politicians are there in BJP. He asked Simha to contest as an independent candidate without using the shield of caste and said if so, he is ready to contest against him.

“I-T raids are being carried out to control the opponents. How many works executed with the funds from the central government have maintained quality? How can we expect development from a person who doesn’t know how many village panchayats are there in the district,” he said.

“The children of government employees and public representatives should be sent to Government Schools compulsorily. I will write a letter to the Chief Secretary in this connection,” he added.

“BJP spokesperson Go Madhusudana, who has a grouse against Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhiram G Sankar, has no common sense. He is misleading the voters,” said Congress spokesperson H A Venkatesh.

“Narendra Modi who didn’t give a ticket to Tejaswini, wife of former Union minister late Ananth Kumar, is the dictator of the party. He has sidelined senior leaders like L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Yashwant Sinha, Sushma Swaraj, Uma Bharathi and others. He is now building Modi BJP,” he said.
