Mysuru, July 3:- A real estate businessman committed suicide by hanging, allegedly due to financial crisis at a hotel in the city.
The deceased has bee identified as Ramesh (52), a resident of Kuvempunagar in the city. He was running a real estate business and a printing press. He was facing loss in both the business due to Covid-19 lockdown. Saddened by this, he stayed at a hotel room in the city. His phone was switched off since July 2. When his room door was opened, he was found hanging.
Lakshmipuram Police has registered a complaint and is investigating. (MR/KS)
