Record numbers of participants attend Mysuru Warriors’ Talent Hunt

Mysuru, July 18:- NR Group, owners of Mysuru Warriors successfully conducted the Talent Hunt, grassroots programme for Karnataka Premier League – KPL-2018 powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies.

The Mysuru edition of the Talent Hunt held on Wednesday saw 240 budding aspirants prove their capabilities. These included 70 batsmen, 82 all-rounders, 68 spinners and 15 wicket-keepers.

Bengaluru’s Just Cricket Academy in Yelahanka, witnessed 250 youth cricketers, exhibiting their cricket talent for a spot in Mysuru Warriors’ team. They were a mixed lot, consisting of 75medium pace bowlers, 50 spinners, 60 batsmen, 55 all-rounders and 10 wicket-keepers.

From among these 500 youngsters, two players will represent Mysuru Warriors in KPL 2018.

“Every year, we receive tremendous response from the cricketing community in the state. It is good to see how driven and inspired these youngsters are for the sport. The strenuous procedure to select players for Mysuru Warriors team has always paved way for selection of talented players,” said Arjun Ranga, owner of Mysuru Warriors and managing director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies. -KK
