Mysuru, January 28:- Mysuru district on Wednesday (January 27) saw more recoveries than new Covid-19 cases as 27 new discharges were reported and 17 new cases registered, taking its tally of recoveries to 52,054 and the cumulative positive cases spiked to 53,299, according to a bulletin from the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Of the total positive 53,299 cases, 219 are active and in isolation at designated Covid hospitals across the district and are stable. The district after registering deaths for the last two consecutive days, on Wednesday reported nil cases and the death toll linked to coronavirus stands at 1026.
A total of 7,95,124 samples have been tested in Mysuru district till Wednesday evening, according to data from Mysuru Covid War Room.
Bagalkote, Haveri, Koppala and Ramanagara has reported no new cases and deaths on Wednesday, while, as many as 15 districts registered new cases in single digit, 10 districts in double digit and Bengaluru Urban in triple digit numbers of new cases.
The three deaths on Wednesday in the state attributed to fever, cough and breathlessness in Dharwada, Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural districts.
Mysuru district administration has set the target of giving vaccine to 5585 beneficiaries but could able to in oculate 1123 beneficiaries with 20 percent coverage. The authorities planned planned to held 61 sessions for vaccine administration but able to do 59 sessions on Wednesday says the health bulletin under the title COVID-19 Vaccination Programme Information, a separate section created to decimate the information of vaccination.
