A three-day Refresher camp for nurses was conducted at Suttur Mutt recently.
Speaking on the occasion, T Dileep Kumar, president of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, said that refresher courses for those in the nursing field enhances their service performance and such camps should be conducted in all the nursing institutions to streamline the service in nursing care. He also explained about the latest developments in nursing care.
Prof Morabad Mallikarjuna, Joint Director of the Department of Collegiate Education, Mysuru division, who was the chief guest, said that the nursing profession is as sacred as the medical doctors’ profession to care and win the confidence of patients. He recalled the immense services of Rajendra Swamji to the society.
Krushika Sarvodaya Foundation President and former chairman of Karnataka Public Service Commission Dr Y K Puttasomegowda said that every individual should strive to achieve excellence in whatever field he or she is engaged in.
Suttur JSS Institutions additional co-ordination officer Sampath, assistant co-ordination officer Veerabhadraiah and others were present.
