Mysuru, February 13:- “People of Karnataka, who are fed up with the governance of national parties, will vote for a regional party,” opined Somanathapura Zilla Panchayat member M Ashwin Kumar here on Sunday.
He was speaking after performing guddali puja for development works at a cost of Rs 3 lakh at Bevinahalli village.
“Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have failed to solve the problems of the rural people. People did like the governance of former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy for 20 months. I am looking forward to contesting the state Assembly elections whenever it is held. Kumaraswamy has promised to give me a ticket. I will work hard to fulfill the expectations of the voters,” Ashwin added.
Janata Dal (Secular) leader Chinnaswamy, Boodhahalli Siddaraju, Goravanahalli Nagaraju, Mavinahalli Rajesh and others were present. (MR/KS).
