Release documents regarding the central government’s fund to state: Shobha

Mysuru, May 7:- “The central government has released thousands of crore for the development activities and drought compensation to Karnataka. But CM Siddaramaiah is lying that the central government has not released adequate funds. Let him release documents regarding the funds released by the UPA government and the funds released by NDA government in the 3 years,” said MP Shobha Karandlaje.

She was addressing a press meet at a private hotel in the city.

“The central government had released a fund of Rs 1450 crore last year and Rs 1720 crore this year. Even the rural development minister H K Patil agreed to it. But CM Siddaramaiah without using the funds gave certificate to the central government saying that the funds are being used. Over 1,000 crore of centre’s funds are in the banks unused. Even the worst drought has hit the state, CM doesn’t get down from the skies to commute,” she said.

“The central government has taken action to fulfill it’s promises on corruption free governance, and the security of the nation. Preparations are made to implement Ujwala scheme. BPL card families without gas connection will be provided with gas connections. State President B S Yeddyurappa will be visiting all the 26 districts to study the drought situation. The internal clash in the party will be soon sorted out,” she added.

BJP state Madhyama pramukh Seetharam, Prabhakar Shindhe, Boregowda, Mahesh and others were present. (BM)
