Rural students more talented: Rangappa

University of Mysore competitive exam training centre and Negilayogi Vidhyavardaka competitive exam training Centre jointly organised a one-day workshop for principals and lecturers on the topics of guidance, preparation for examination and information regarding occupations at Maharaja College centenary bhavan on Wednesday.

Speaking after inaugurating the workshop, UoM VC Prof K S Rangappa said that a new centre has been opened for the benefit of students who should make complete use of it. Any facilities required will be provided us,” he said.

“Students hailing from rural places should be given adequate information. Such students possess more talent. This should be recognised and brought out by the lecturers,” he added.

District Commissioner D Randeep, Maharaja College Principal Prof K Kalachannegowda, Negilayogi president Dr K N Chandrashekar and others were present.
