Sad rebels became ministers, says Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, February 7:- Former chief minister Siddaramaiah has said that the disqualified MLAs are still disqualified even if they have become ministers.

“I am not happy with those who have cheated their parties becoming ministers after switching loyalties. They might have won but they are still disqualified according to the law,” he said while speaking to media persons at HD Kote in the district on Thursday.

“The Cabinet of BS Yediyurappa is still incomplete. There are still 6 vacant posts. Bharatiya Janata Party high command didn’t agree to the list submitted by Yediyurappa. I sympathise with Yediyurappa. He doesn’t even have the freedom to appoint those whom he wants as ministers. The new ministers have cheated their parties. I am not happy with them becoming ministers. But I wish them to do good works,” he added. (MR/KS)
