Safari a big draw among tourists at Bandipur

Mysuru, December 31:- Bandipur National Park is witnessing a rush of tourists since a week. Bandipur, which is 15 km away from Gundlupet, is witnessing a large number of visitors, thanks to year-end holidays.

Thousands of tourists are arriving at Bandipur for safari which takes place between 7:30 am and 9:30 am. The evening safari is also seeing a heavy crowd at 4:30 pm. People are standing in long queues at the entrance of the ticket counter and go for safari with their loved ones. As the number of visitors is increasing, the Forest Department has provided some more vehicles to meet the demand.

Tourists are also visiting Himavadh Gopalaswamy Hills which is near to Bandipur. They are seen waiting in long queues to get the darshan of God. (MR/KS)
