Samajwadi Party to launch ‘August Revolution’ for corruption-free voting

Mysuru, August 21:- “Samajwadi Party is organising August Revolution programme from Wednesday for corruption-free elections,” said candidate contesting from Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Ward 41 Prakash Babu at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Tuesday.

“The event will begin by garlanding the statue of Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar at K R Circle. We will request everyone by visiting residences to vote without taking bribe. Voting for money is against the Constitution. People have to vote without taking money and liquor from the candidates,” he added.

Party president B K Gowda, general secretary Prasanna, candidate of MCC Ward 55 Nagendra and others were present. (KMR, NGB)
