It is a women’s organisation with a difference. Set up just two years back with a focus on social service, Samskruthi Women Sphere is not only spreading its wings but also growing in popularity. At a time when women need all the support to stay in the hunt, Samskruthi, established in 2014, is fighting for women empowerment. The organisation also aims at promoting education for girls, especially those from the under-privileged class of the society.
Along with social work, the women’s organisation is holding Splash Carnival and Flea at Pai Vista between 10 am and 9 pm on July 17, a fund-raising programme for mentally-challenged children of VASS, TK Layout. The fund raised from the event will be used for education of poor girls and future activities of the club.
The event will also help prospective women entrepreneurs to upgrade their skills. Around 30 stalls will be set up for women to showcase their talent.
As far as the kids are concerned, Samskruthi will be conducting competitions in drawing, spell bee, handwriting, kids fashion and many more exciting events.
One will also get to see some of the pretty faces walking the ramp in their bid to win Miss Samskruthi, Mr Samskruthi (ethnic style) titles.
Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha and city’s who’s who will grace the occasion.
Samskruthi’s philosophy is simple: To be a women’s conclave of substance, as a complete capsule for women, to stay in tune with the dynamic and modern world.
