‘Sangathya’ book release in Jaganmohan Palace

‘Sangathya’ novel penned by Ramyabhoomi launched by writer Professor Bhairavamurthy here on Thursday. The event was inaugurated by renowned writer C P Krishnakumar. The book was published by Ramyabhoomi Publication.

Speaking about the novel, writer C P Krishnakumar said that the writer Ramyabhoomi strongly abide women characters in loyal manner. The writer raised voice against Polygamy and Sati system where women were viciously ill-treated in the name of rich culture by the men dominant Indian society. The book recalls the contributions of Raja Ram Mohan Roy during 19th century, he said.

Kannada and Culture Department former secretary M G Sadanandaiah, Theatre person H K Ramanath, Personality Development tutor Chethanram, Senior Artist Vidwan R K Padmanabha, Jaganmohan Palace Secretary Lakshminarayan, Neurologist Dr Bhaskar were present.

Volvo bus driver Madhu who saved fifty children recently while bus carrying school children accidentally catches fire due to technical reasons, has felicitated in the event. Writers and entrepreneurs lauded the time sense of the driver that saved lives of 50 children.
