Mysuru, June 2:- BJP women’s wing of Chamundeshwari constituency organised saplings’ planting programme to mark World Environment Day at the premises of Hinakal Hundi School on Thursday.
MP Pratap Simha inaugurated the programme symbolically, by planting saplings.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “It is our responsibility to protect the environment. Campaigns are being held in the city to conserve nature. We also have plans to plant saplings on Hinakal road.” (MR/KS).
