Mysuru, January 27:- Get together of alumni of Sarada Vilasa College was held at Venkata Krishnaiah auditorium of Sarada Vilasa Law College on Sunday.
“Education has to be pro-social. Newer courses have been introduced and such courses will earn them jobs. Sarada Vilasa College which has a history of over 165 years has organised a get together to provide better opportunities for the students,” said retired vice-chancellor of the University of Mysore, Prof TK Umesh.
Alumni of the college, Anantha Krishna said that he would provide all the cooperation required for the development of the college and the welfare of the students.
The principal of the college, Prof P Dhanalakshmi explained the initiatives undertaken by the alumni association including the development of the library, drinking water, indoor and outdoor sports, robotics and artificial intelligence. Souvenir of the alumni association was released on the occasion.
President of Sarada Vilasa Education Institutions, BS Parthasarathy, secretary HK Srinath, Bapu Sathyanarayana, ML Krishnaswamy, Anantha Krishna and others were present. (MR/GK).
