Prime News, Karnataka, Mangalore, June 28:- Under the IPC section 144 prohibitory orders issued in Dakshina Kannadas four districts fearing further violence, police sources say.
After the murder of Social Democratic party of India Bantwal President, Ashraf Kulai, and the situation in and around the four districts is reportedly tense.
Prohibitory orders will continue in Belthangady, Puttur, Sulya and Batwal till June 30.
On the backdrop of violence which was erupted in Kaladka, police imposed Indian Penal Code section 144, which prohibits the assembling of more than five people, in the Mangalore district.
Dakshina kannada Deputy Commissioner KG Jagadish ordered the 144 section till June 30; prohibitory orders will be withdrawn from Mangalore districts mid night from 28 June.
