Seer Veerabhadra Chennamalla releases three books

Pontiff of Nidumamidi Ma­hasamsthana Mutt Sri Veer­abhadra Chennamalla Swamiji unveiled three books including `Beligidagalu Mathaduthave,’ `Kama Rasayana,’ and ‘An­tharagangavva,’ penned by Kupnalli M Bhyrappa at BM Shri Auditorium in Kuvempu Institute for Studies in Kan­nada of University of Mysore here on Friday.

Director for Kuvempu In­stitute for Studies in Kan­nada, Prof Preethi Srimand­harakumar, Chamarajanagar Ambedkar PG Study Centre Assistant Prof Krishnamurti Hanuru, progressive think­er Prof K S Bhagavan, UoM Prasaranga Director Profes­sor C Naganna, progressive thinker Prof Aravinda Mal­agatti, UoM Syndicate mem­ber Prof D Nanjundaiah, writer Kupnalli M Bhyrappa and oth­ers were present.

`Beligidagalu Mathaduthave,’ is a collection of poetry that explores the pain behind the helpless si­lence of the oppressed class, ‘Karna Rasayana,’ is a nar­ration about the architect of the Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar being compared with Karna in the epic Ma­habharata. Antharagangav­va,’ is a collection of research articles regarding the origin of Mahishasura and goddess Chamundi of Mysuru explor­ing the correlation embedded with Buddhism stating several evidences.

Scholarship was awarded to meritorious students.
