Mysuru, July 31:- Police who are providing security at Mysuru Palace have now come up with a new rule. They have prohibited tourists from taking selfies and photographs at the Palace premises.
Cops are warning the tourists as not to take selfies even at Jayamarthanda arch. Every day, around 10-15,000 visitors come to the Palace and they are certainly sad that they are not allowed to take selfies and photographs.
TS Subramanya, deputy director of Mysore Palace Board is okay with the photos being taken at the Palace premises, but not the police. In fact, They are taking away the cameras that the tourists carry to take pictures.
Unless there is a strong security reason, there is nothing wrong for the police to allow tourists to take pictures at the Palace premises. (MR/KS)
