Karnataka State Co-operative City Bank Mahamandala Ltd, Bengaluru is conducting a seminar for women executive officers and directors of City Co-operative Banks and Women Co-operative Banks, with an objective of empowering women in co-operative banking sectors at Nityotsava convention hall, near Ashoka Circle tomorrow.
As part of the event, campaign procession will be conducted from Nityotsava convention hall at 9.30am and will be returning to the venue after creating awareness in the core areas in the city.
More than 400 women directors, CEO’s across state from 24 women co-operative banks, and 266 city co-operative banks are likely to participate.
Karnataka Police Academy Mysuru Deputy Director Dr Dharanidevi Malagatti will be flagging off the rally, and writer Dr Geetha Mahadevaprasad will inaugurate the seminar.
Co-operative Associations’ former additional manager B A Mahadevappa will deliver talk on ‘Women empowerment, participation and role in the co-operative banking sectors’ at 11.15 am.
Mysuru university professor Dr B K Thulasimala will deliver talk on ‘women role in the development of co-operative banks and benefits’ at 12.30pm.
