Former Governor and senior Congress leader K Sankaranarayanan said that only through collective leadership Congress could tide over the present crisis. He criticised senior leader and former Minister for External Affairs S M Krishna and said the practice of despising party after getting top honours should be condemned.
He was speaking at a meeting to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary here on Monday. “Everyone should work for the growth of the party and not for positions. It is not good for demanding positions in the party,” said Sankaranarayanan.
