SFI activists stage protest; demand free KSRTC bus passes to all students

Mysuru, July 20:- Students’ Federation of India (SFI) staged a protest in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office in the city and demanded free KSRTC bus passes for all the students in the state.

The protesters lashed out at the state government for the delay in extending free bus passes to all the students. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy-led coalition government had promised to provide free bus passes but is backtracking now. The protesters said that the ministers were confusing the students with their statements every other day. The agitators warned the government of sterner protest if their demand is not met.
