Shab-e-Barath will be observed tomorrow at mosques in Mysuru

Mysuru, April 19:-The Muslim brethren are celebrating Shab-e-Barath (Night of Forgiveness) in the city on April 20 (Saturday evening) as per Islamic calendar. This is 14th day of Hijri 1440 Shaban-e-Muzam.

Special prayers is arranged at the mosques in the city and the whole night Muslims will pray in the mosque and at the same time Muslim women will pray at home for their welfare and for the departed souls of their near and dear ones.

After the prayers, Ulmas will deliver lecture on Fazilath Shab-e-Bharath. The Muslim brethren will visit the graveyards at midnight and offer floral tribute to the departed souls.

On this occasion Namaz Isha prayers (evening prayer) have been arranged by the various Management Committees and the Masjid Namaz Isha (evening prayer) timings are as follows in Mysuru city and extension areas: Masjid Hali Meamoon Jamath, Shivarampet at 9.30 pm; Masjid Hazarath Gumnam Sha Wali, Bannimantap; Mecca Masjid, Near Bhawa Medical Store 2nd Stage, Rajiv Nagar; Jamiya Masjid, Irwin Road; Masjid Feel Khana, Khille Mohalla; Masjid-ya-Rub, 4th Stage, Rajiv Nagar; Masjid-e-Khair-ul-Wara, 2nd Stage, Rajiv Nagar; Masjid-e-Eidgah, Mission Hospital Road; Masjid Khatoon-e-Janath, Kesare, Belavatha; Masjid Dargahi, Sawday Road; Masjid Zeenath-ul-Masajid (Nawab Saheb) 100 Feet Road; Masjid Tippu Sultan, Tippu Town, Mahadevapura Road; Masjid Rehamaniya, Near Silk Weaving Factory, Mysore South; Masjid-e-Mir Hayath, K T Street, Masjid-e-Ya Rasool Allah, 1st Stage, Rajiv Nagar; Masjid-e-Shoudal-wo-Badar (Ek-Minarate) Azeez Sait Road, Shanthi Nagar; Masjid-e-Munawara, RS.Naidu Nagar at 10 pm, and Masjid Azam Markaz Ahle Sunnath-wo-Jamath, Ashoka Road; Masjid-e-Moula Ali, Ghousia Nagar; Masjid Aqsa, Fountain Circle at 10.30 pm.

Mansoor Sait Kushali, President, Management Committee of Masjid Hali Meamoon Jamath, Shivarampet, Mysuru informed that, on Shabe Bharath Iftar (breaking fast) is arranged for fasting person on April 20 and 21 at 6-45 pm in the masjid premises and Salath-o-Tasbi prayer on April 20 followed by Namaz Maqrib prayer in Masjid Hali Meamoon Jamath, Shivarampet and Masjid-e-Khair-ul-Wara, Rajiv Nagar, stated a press release from Zukfikar Ahmed Khan, secretary, Tahfuz-e-Sunniyat Trust.
