Shortage of doctors: Dr Yatindra comes forward to take up stethoscope

Mysuru, April 1:- The number of coronavirus patients in Karnataka is gradually increasing. With the growing cases, the worry is that do we have enough doctors to treat them? MLA of Varuna Constituency, who is incidentally son of former chief minister Siddaramaiah, Dr Yatindra Siddaramaiah, who is a doctor by profession, has said he is ready to start practising again if the need arises.

As coronavirus transmission is feared to be reaching phase three in India, Dr Yatindra offered his service to treat patients. He has come up voluntarily and said if the need arises he doesn’t mind donning the old role again. (MR/KS)
