Accusing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of not taking suitable action against corruption, Veera Kannadiga Makkala Balaga has organised a state wide ‘Siddaramaih hatao, Karnataka bachao’ protest. The protest was flagged off from Gandhi circle, Mysuru, on Thursday.
“A few honest ministers are sitting deaf towards corruption that is happening inside the government. The corruption of ministers and officials has come out with proof, thanks to the IT and ED raids around the state. Even after so many charges against ministers and officials, Siddaramaiah has not taken any action against his corrupt ministers but has lent his support to them,” the association complained.
“The government has also failed to stop the farmers’ suicides and has not taken up the drought issue seriously. Keeping all the issues in mind, Siddaramaiah should immediately resign from his post as he has failed the state as Chief Minister,” S C Rajesh, association president, said.
