Mysuru, May 13:- “BJP should be strengthened before the assembly elections. During the last elections, voters were confused between BJP and KJP. Later the party won most of the Lok Sabha seats. We should analyse the loss in the assembly elections to come up strong,” said BJP state vice president V Srinivas Prasad.
He was addressing at the BJP Mysuru executive meeting held at Rajendra Kalamandir on Saturday.
“Party was strong in NR, KR and Chamaraja constituencies of Mysuru. We should plan in a proper way to make the mission 150 dream come true. We don’t have to worry about CM being a Mysurean. He couldn’t ensure the victory of his party even in ZP elections. After the removal of Digvijay Singh as the state Congress in-Charge, Siddaramaiah has lost his control over the party,” Prasad said.
“Though there is no water in the Kapila river, Congress has flourished money in the constituency. Though they had no candidate, they brought in Kalale from JD(S). Devegowda and son have no gratitude. One became PM with the help of Congress and the other CM with the help of BJP. They didn’t put their candidate even though they had 40,000 votes in Nanjanagud,” he said.
BJP Mysuru President Dr B H Manjunath, BJP leaders Phaneesh, Thontadarya, H V Rajeev, Phaneesh, Deputy Mayor Rathna Laxman and others were present.
