Siddaramaiah retorts to Chief Minister Kumaraswamy’s statement on Mallikarjun Kharge

Prime News, Karnataka, Bengaluru, May 16:- In a rebuff to the statement of the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy that Mallikarjun Kharge could become the chief minister of the state, the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah retorted that the Public Works Minister H D Revanna also can become the top runner for the chief minister’s post, but the right time has to come.

Siddaramaiah in a tweet message has stated that what Kumaraswmay had said on Mallikarjuna Kharge is true, he (Kharge) is deserved not only the post of chief minister, but also for higher than the post.

“There are many leaders both in the Congress and JD(S) who are chief ministerial material and one of them are Kumaraswamy’s brother H D Revanna.” For everything right time should come, Siddaramaiah posted his opinion on his twitter handle, which has gone viral.

It may be recalled that at a public meeting at Chincholi on Tuesday, Chief Minister Kumaraswamy had expressed sympathy on Kharge and had said that “Kharge should have become the chief minister of the state, and had missed it many times.” (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
