Siddaramaiah urges CM Kumaraswamy not to shift Film City project from Mysuru

Prime News, Karnataka, National, Cinema, Sandalwood, New Delhi, August 7:-Former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah wrote a letter to his successor HD Kumaraswamy, urging him not to shift the Film City project from Mysuru to Ramanagara.

Siddaramaiah, in his letter, said that the Film City was planned to be constructed in Mysuru and 100 acres land was also allotted for the same. He also mentioned that it was the dream of late legendary Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar to build a Film City in Mysuru.

Kumaraswamy in his last budget announced that the Film City will be shifted to Ramanagara from where he was elected in the state Assembly polls. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
