Siddaramaiah’s resignation sought

Mysuru Rakshana Vedike activists staged a protest near the Gandhi statue in front of the district court, Mysuru, urging the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to resign from power in the wake of many of his cabinet ministers getting caught in some scandal or the other.

Though the Chief Minister brags about a clean government, his close associates and officers in power are exploiting the lower class workers, said the activists. “A series of illegal activities are going on across the state by the close associates of the Chief Minister. Even though Siddaramaiah has a clear picture of all the activities, he is keeping mum on these issues. He should take responsibility for his party’s misadventures and resign immediately,” urged the protestors.

Mysuru Rakshana Vedike president My Ka Premkumar, Kumar Gowda, Rakesh Bhat, Vikram, Pramod Gowda, R Chandru, Chennabasavanna, Swami and others were present in the protest.
