Mysuru, January 24:- “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is trying to loot the taxpayers’ money,” said former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa. He was speaking at Parivarthana rally held at Suttur on Tuesday.
“Law and order completely have collapsed in Karnataka. Around 3,315 suicides, 6,521 rapes, 4,759 missing cases have been reported. He should accept the fact that the government has taken a loan of Rs 975 crore from the banks. He says he received the watch worth Rs 70 lakh as a gift. If it was a gift, he should have worn it. Why is he isn’t wearing it? He gives Shadibhagya for minority votes. He says development works worth Rs 1,600 crore took place at Varuna constituency. Let him release the documents in connection with that. He is supporting the state bandh on January 25 and February 4, though he has failed to find a solution for Mahadayi dispute. We will distribute the misdeeds of Siddaramaiah government to households,” he added.
Union minister Sadananda Gowda, Suresh Kumar, Srinivas Prasad, Pratap Simha, Tejaswini Gowda, Veeraiah, Yogeshwar, Puttaswamy and others were present. (MR/KS).
