Siddu may be forced to eat his own words

It seems like a statement made out of sheer excitement than anything else. At a function to inaugurate development works at Kempegowdanahalli in Varuna constituency,  Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was full of praise for the villagers for their overwhelming support during the Assembly elections.

Heaping praise on them, he said, “All the 600 votes from the village came in my favour.” Continuing in the same breath, he said,  “You people even helped me with votes of those who have already died! I thank you for your undying support. In reciprocation, we are taking up these development works.”

Siddaramaiah may have made such a statement without giving it a thought.  Hope he does not get into any type of controversy.
