Silver jubilee celebrations of All India Milli Council; public meeting tomorrow

Mysuru, February 24:- “The silver jubilee celebrations of All India Milli Council will be held in the city for four days. The convention will discuss about the threats to the Indian Constitution and including everyone in nation development,” said Maulana Abdul Mukhaisi, national organising president of the council at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club.

“The organisation held convention in New Delhi, urging public participation in protecting the Constitution. Efforts are being made to implement ‘Manusmruti’ (Manu theory) in place of Indian Constitution. Minorities are deprived of opportunities to participate in national development. Everyone should fight for this. An internal meeting is being held to discuss the silver jubilee celebrations. A meeting of entrepreneurs and advocates will be held on February 24. A public meeting will be held on February 25 at Milad Park on Ashoka Road in Lashkar Mohalla in the city at 6 pm,” he added.

National general secretary Dr Mohammed Manzur Alam, district president Mohammed Zakaulla, Corporator Shaukat Pasha, Syed Shafi Ulla, Arif Mehakari and others were present. -(KMR, NGB)
