Mysuru, November 26:- “Silver Jubilee of Vidya Vikasa Educational Trust will be held on November 28,” said the chairman of the trust and former MLA P Vasu.
He was addressing a press meet at a private hotel in the city on Monday.
“The trust, which was established in 1991, offers primary and high school education in state and CBAC. Along with this, engineering, polytechnic, hotel management, BEd, computer application, MBA, MSW, law and MTA courses are also offered. We give emphasis to sports and cultural activities. We are happy that artistes and athletes have emerged from our institutions,” he added.
“Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the event at 10 am. Seer Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami of Suttur Mutt, former Union minister M Veerappa Moily will inaugurate the new auditorium. District In-charge and Higher Education Minister G T Devegowda, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath, MP Pratap Simha, MLA Tanveer Sait, MLCs K T Srikantegowda and Marithibbegowda and others will be present,” he said.
“The valedictory programme will be held at 5:30 pm in the evening. Seer Dr Nirmalanandanatha of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwar, MP R Dhruvanarayan, Tourism Minister Sa Ra Mahesh, MLCs Sandesh Nagaraj, R Dharmasena and others will be present. Various events will be held throughout the year as part of silver jubilee celebrations,” he added.
