SJCE alumni receives outstanding award from NY University

It is a proud moment for JSS Science & Technology University (SJCE), as an alumni of the college, Impana Srikantappa has received the prestigious ‘Professor George Schillinger Award’ at New York University for the year 2016.

According to a press release by SJCE, The award was bestowed on Impana, Department of Technology Management, for her outstanding academic achievement, service leadership and other contributions to the university during her two-year stay at New York University, Tandon School of Engineering, USA.  

Each year, a set of highly coveted awards are given to students in particular, graduating from the university to recognize their outstanding performance.

The award was established in the year 2001 by the late Richard L Metrick ’62EE and his wife, Cherly Metrick. Professor George Schillinger award is presented annually to an outstanding graduate student in the department of management who, by changing his or her academic professional career path, has found professional and personal fulfilment in management.

Impana was a student of Information Science at SJCE during 2010-2014 and presently working at PWC, USA after completing her post-graduation.

Vice Chancellor Dr B G Sangameshwara, Principal Dr T N Nagabhushan and staff members of JSS S&T University congratulated Impana on her wonderful feat.
