Snake Shyam conducts awareness programme on snakes at NPS International

Snakes are ever so fascinating and intriguing since the birth of mankind. Well known snake catcher and corporator M S Balasubramania who is popularly known as ‘Snake Shyam’ conducted an awareness programme recently to enlighten the students of National Public School International, Mysuru, about different kinds of snakes that exist in and around the heritage city.

A Powerpoint Presentation (PPT) comprising a variety of snakes was shown to the students assembled at the school auditorium, according to a press release from school press coordinators Vani N and Nandini Iyappa.

‘Snake Shyam’ spoke about both, poisonous and non-poisonous snakes. He also explained about the remedial measures to be taken for snake bites and emphasised the importance of conserving forests and saving water for future generations to come and to reduce global warming.
