Mysuru, April 27:- A student of University of Mysore, Vasanth Kalal, staged a protest at the Gandhi Study Centre at Manasagangotri premises here, condemning the university, for not allowing him to write the exam for having attendance below 75%.
According to the university rules, a student should have attendance above 75% to write exams. But the MA student, Kalal was not allowed to write the exam due to the shortage of attendance. But he claims that it is not mandatory for post-graduation students to have 75% attendance and said the UoM has cheated him.
