Just a few days after the death of the BJP activist Rudresh in Bengaluru, yet another suspicious death of BJP activist in Piriyapattana taluk of Mysore district has angered the members of BJP. The deceased has been identified as Ravi (35), a resident of Magali Village of Piriyapattana. He was found dead on the outskirts of the village on Friday night.
Several BJP activists rushed to K R Hospital in Mysore where the body of Ravi was brought for post-mortem. The BJP has accused that the death of the activist is suspicious as his neck was seen slit.
The kin of Ravi has lodged a complaint in Piriyapattana police station stating that the death of the activist is suspicious and pre-determined. Over hundreds of BJP activists were seen at K R Hospital. As a precautionary measure, the Mysore city police have tightened the security at the hospital. Ravi D Channannavar, Superintendent of Police, Mysore is expected to arrive at the hospital to monitor the security.
Ravi was into agriculture from past several years and it is said that he was part of real estate business in and around Piriyapattana taluk from past few years.
