Special Lecture on Ethical Hacking by CIST

The CIST (Centre for Information Science and Technology) has organised half day special lecture on the topic ‘Ethical Hacking’ on 24 September between 10 AM to 2 PM  at CIST premises, Senate Bhavan, Manasagangotri, Mysore.

 The Founder & Head of Cyber Security and Privacy Foundation Pvt. Ltd.  Singapore,  India,  J Prasanna and young cyber security expert Suriya delivered lecture on the topic related to cyber-attacks and APT attacks, web Apps and Mob Apps Security testing. He  gave insight into ethical hacking and said India now needs at least 4 lakh cyber security professionals, hence the computer professionals should train themselves in online/offline cyber security courses.

 He opined that today’s youth has power to strengthen our cyber security space in the world.  Dr A M Sudhakara, Director, CIST welcomed the gathering of 100 computer enthusiast from PG departments, engineering colleges and industry.
