Mysuru, August 13:- Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Mysuru, donated a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, towards the relief efforts being undertaken by the Government of Karnataka following the unprecedented floods caused due to incessant rains across the state.
Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji handed over the cheque to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at the ashram premises on Monday in the city.
The seer also performed Devi Bhagavatha Saptaham for seven days from August 5 to 12, seeking blessings of mother goddess for relief from the rains.
