Prime News, State, (Bengaluru), August 8:-The fate of the around 8.4 lakhs students who wrote Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) little over a month ago will be out on Monday (August 10) at 3pm.
Students can access the results on the following websites, www.kseeb.kar.nic.in and www.karresults.nic.in at 3.45 pm on Monday.
Primary and Secondary Education minister S Suresh Kumar announced the date on social media on Friday.
About 8.4 lakh students had registered for the SSLC exams which was conducted on June 25 to July 4. The state government came in for criticism from various quarters to hold exams amid coronavirus pandemic after several states has cancelled the exams altogether fearing the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The SSLC examinations were originally scheduled top be held in March and April but had to postponed due to nationwide lockdown which was extended thrice.
The authorities have made elaborate arrangements and precautions while holding the exams such as thermal screening for students and teachers, staff and made wearing of the masks mandatory at exam centres.
Thirty two students had tested positive for Covid-19 and could not write the exams. The education department clarified that those who were unable to write the exams due to Covid-19 would be treated as freshers and could write the supplementary exams, the dates of which are yet to announce.
