Mysuru, November 22:- Second state convention of Akhila Bharatiya Sahitya Parishat will be held at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) on December 29 and 30.
“Columnist Premashekhar will be the president of the convention. Rajamatha Pramodha Devi Wadiyar will inaugurate the convention. Chairperson of Infosys Foundation Sudha Murty, writer Dr S L Bhyrappa will be present. National secretary of the Parishat, Dr Rushi Kumar Mishra will deliver a special lecture. J Nandakumar of Prajna Pravaha Vedike will deliver the valedictory address,” said the secretary of the organisation, Raghunandan Bhat at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Wednesday.
“Dr C P Krishna Kumar will preside over a session on Indian feel in literature. S R Leela, Thippeswamy and others will speak on the occasion. Cultural programmes will be held in the evening. Dr Hampana will preside over the poets’ summit on November 30 at 9 am. Poetries in Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam and other languages will be presented. More than 3,000 representatives will attend the programme. They will be provided with food and accommodation,” he added.
